Hey there, I’m Marissa, and I’m so glad you’re here!
Let me tell you a wee bit about me;
I’m an artist who finds inspiration in the world around me — whether it’s through painting, drawing, or my passion, photography. My connection with animals runs deep, and as a proud pet parent to two Vizslas, Mango and Peach, I know firsthand the joy and beauty that our pets bring into our lives.
Vizslas are and always will be my heart breed <3
I’ve been lucky enough to work with Marshalls Dog rescue as a foster-fur-mom and hope to rescue many more in the years to come. Supporting local rescues and volunteering with animal rehabilitation centres is a cause I hold dear. Every dog deserves a warm and caring home.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m a full-time Registered Massage Therapist and Yoga instructor, which helps keep me grounded and connected to nature. I’m also an avid traveler, always seeking new adventures ( and that "perfect shot"), but my love for animals and the outdoors is a constant no matter where I go.
My approach
When it comes to photography, I focus on capturing the true essence of your pet.
My style is fun, artistic, and authentic — aiming to bring out the unique personality of every animal I photograph. Whether it’s the warmth of your dog’s eyes or a playful moment in the park, I want to preserve those precious details in a way that’s as special as your pet is.
My goal isn’t just to give you a fun photograph, but to create artwork you’ll be proud to display on your walls — something that will remind you of your pet’s spirit every time you look at it.
I’ve been photographing dogs for over five years, and it was a natural progression to turn my passion into a business. There’s nothing more rewarding than working with pet owners who cherish their animals, and I’m honoured to help them celebrate their bond through my photography.
